Escaping Singapore by bebul

The story begins in rural northern Singapore, just before Christmas in 1941. You are placed in the shoes of a young 8-year-old English boy named Willoughby. Willoughby's father works in Singapore City as a British Intelligence Operative, tasked with countering Japanese espionage attacks. You are enjoying a pleasant morning in the garden before you receive news that changes everything.
