Murder on the High Seas by RebeccaRose

Half-way through your ocean voyage, a man is killed. It seems it has been left up to you to solve the mystery and hunt down the killer... before they hunt down you.

-Game is still in testing phases-
(Please feel free to let me know if you find any errors or mistakes)

Tips:
- Collect fingerprints: collect fingerprints <object>
-Match fingerprints: Tap on the object in your inventory, if it is compatible, choose display verb 'match fingerprints' and choose whose fingerprints you wish to match them with.

- Talk to characters in 3 different ways:
Ask <character> about <topic>
Tell <character> about <topic>
If they are a cook or bartender you can also use:
Speak to <character>
This will bring up a menu of options that you can choose from

-Make sure you know who the killer is, and have evidence before arresting someone, otherwise, the killer may get the opportunity to strike again...

It would be cool if the character had a ship's map in the inventory. Click "Look at" and check the locations.

As you said, the game is in testing phase, so here are some bugs I noticed:
- An error pops up when you try to save
- I couldn't figure out what to say after I arrested Harry, so I had to open the code to beat the game. There are four things you can say, and I don't know how likely it is that a player might say one of those things, but maybe it's just me. I tried to say "receipt" to present it as evidence.
- I couldn't interact with the body
- I couldn't find the waiter uniform where it should be, but you don't actually need it to serve food
- During the dream, there's some text that shouldn't be there
- "says" is mispelled as "saies" when you try and talk to someone who has nothing to say
- There are apostrophes missing in places, like "Harrys" instead of "Harry's"
- If you give food to someone, it always says you gave them cookies
Thanks for making the game; I really liked it!

This is a nice game! I like that it is free-roam and open-ended and you can experiment with different ideas until you figure out what works. The dialogue is interesting, and the art style is unique.
