You have never left your room in the night in all 450 days you've been here. It's scary at night in the psych ward, not because of the patients but because of the dark, never-ending hallways, impossible to navigate through at night. You slip on your slippers, heart pounding. Your door is slightly cracked open, as if someone left it that way. You made sure it was closed before you went to bed last night. You walk into the dark hallways, the only light in the long room is a green-glowing star on the ceiling.
