You are playing this game as Abina Mansah. It is 1875 and you are an ex-slave in the area of Africa that has yet to become Ghana. Left behind to become a slave again against your will, you need to navigate the events life throws at you to gain freedom from your enslaver and get legally recognized as a free person.
