You have stepped into the shoes of Tek, a person who woke up on the wrong side of reality. What happened last night?! Did you take questionable substance? Or are you just a little dumb? Too early to say right now.

Tek's day is a chaotic blend of confusion and enjoyment. The goal? Get your @#$ home and go to bed without attracting undue attention, sustaining any injuries, or letting the day slip away. Who knows what oddball encounters await? A hungry fantastical beast? Or even worse... an acquaintance!? BAH! Time to get home, Tek! (o_0)

Before you begin:

- Enjoy the game, but remember it's a work in progress.
- This game is text-only, designed for a nostalgic 1980-90s experience. Keep a pen and paper nearby for notes and mapping.
- Navigate the game using VERB + NOUN commands (eat apple | go west | take sword)
- Explore / look at everything!
- Verify your possessions buy typing INVENTORY
- To examine the room you are in and view its contents and exits, type LOOK
- To examine a specific object and see its description, type LOOK AT [OBJECT] (look at tree | look at table, etc.)
- Expect some limitations due to the game engine (QUEST).

** What is a text adventure game / interactive fiction? **

Interactive fiction (IF), also commonly known as a "text adventure" video game is a unique genre of storytelling where you, the player, actively participate in the narrative. In IF, you communicate with the game through simple "VERB + NOUN" commands, known as a "parser." For example:

> EAT APPLE
> GO NORTH
> OPEN BOX
> LOOK AT TREE
etc...
