American Juror by SeanPaulONeill

Alan Dershowitz is quoted as describing a criminal trial as follows: "The defendant wants to hide the truth because he's generally guilty. The defense attorney's job is to make sure the jury does not arrive at that truth." Jury nullification flips that notion on its head. In a case where jury nullification is appropriate, it is the prosecution attempting to hide the ball to keep the jurors from arriving at the moral truth of a "not guilty" verdict.
