In The Last Safe Camp, you play as Kash, a 14-year-old boy who has lived inside a tiny campsite your whole life, deep in a creepy forest. The camp leaders say the outside world is too dangerous because of the Whispers. The Whispers come from these strange creatures that copy voices, that pretend to be people you know, and lure you into the dark. The lanterns around the camp are supposed to keep everyone inside safe, but lately they have been flickering, and the Whispers have been louder, and they have started calling your name. You are sick of listening to the strict rules, the fences keeping us out, and being controlled by adults who you think aren't telling the truth. When the Whispers get too close, you decide to stop listening to the camp leaders and go past the lanterns.
