The Case of Julieta Morales by ll4939
This is a scenario-based, interactive game where the player takes the role of Julieta Morales, an Upper School Registrar whose accent makes her discriminatory. Players in the game decide to either request documentation in writing, file an HR complaint, or even ask for a communicative assessment. Players learn here how Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of an individual's accent, what one's rights at work are, and how the documentation, evidence, and strategy become vital when attempting to prove a case involving unlawful employment practices.
