Briarrock Mesa by mamos
Briarrock Mesa is a tense, grounded interactive fiction experience in the tradition of classic parser adventures like Zork and Planetfall. Players type natural language commands to explore, investigate, and survive inside a facility that was never meant to let anyone leave.
You arrive at the Briarrock Mesa Rehabilitation Facility under sentence. Officially, it offers a structured path toward reform and a second chance. Unofficially, no one has ever completed the program. The mesa rises alone in the New Mexico desert, smaller than the surrounding formations, but carved through with tunnels, laboratories, and sealed wings that do not appear on public maps.
Something is wrong here.
Intake is orderly. Directions are firm. Paperwork is precise. But behind controlled corridors and observation rooms lies a different purpose. “Volunteers” do not go home. Research continues below ground. And the deeper you move into the facility, the clearer it becomes that Briarrock Mesa is not about rehabilitation at all.
This is not a fast-paced thriller. It is a methodical infiltration and escape story driven by observation, planning, and consequence. Evidence must be gathered. Systems must be understood. Trust must be weighed carefully. Late-game pressure escalates as containment measures tighten and time begins to matter.
If you enjoy grounded conspiracy fiction, controlled environments hiding darker intent, and the challenge of outthinking a system designed to contain you, Briarrock Mesa invites you inside.
The desert is wide. The facility is sealed. And no one leaves by accident.
