You should also add "Fluffy" to the rat's names, add a message saying I drank the water from my water bottle, and make the composter disappear after giving it to Ronnie.

It's a great start to what seems like a zombie apocalypse game. It was really straightforward, though you should make the tire iron disappear instead of just dropping it, unless you plan to only be able to carry one type of weapon at the same time. I'd advise against not being able to pick up the tire iron once it's dropped, since if someone decides to pick up and drop the tire iron before fighting they will be weaponless.

I think you should be able to talk to Devlin, Ronnie, and Isabella in order to complete the current objective, or use clear and simple verbs, because many people often only play using text as opposed to clicking the links. Needless to say, when I was stumped I resorted to clicking the links and found what word I needed to use from there.

Hope to see this game be completed! Am waiting for the update!

Had a lot of fun playing, and like where the plot was heading. All though at times it was unclear what the game wanted me to do, for instance, I never realized that you could go inside from the yard, as nothing was mentioned about it.

It has promise, but there were some things that felt too "specific".

First, I kept wanting to use things on other things. The way you have it is ok, but I had to learn that things were more "implicit". For example, in the beginning with the rat, I had the hammer and the tire iron, and I knew I had to kill the rat. But I couldn't use either. Finally, I just said "kill rat", and it worked. Similarly, with the door braces, I tried to pry with the tire iron, but in the end it was the hammer instead.

A humorous bit when I picked up the baseball bat, it dropped the tire iron automatically, saying I couldn't have both. But then I was able to simply pick the tire iron back up again.

Finally, I had all five pieces of trash, and one by one, I put them in the composter. Then I tried to give it to Ronnie, and he said there was nothing in it. When I tried adding the items again, it just said they were already in there. And oddly enough, when I checked the composter's contents, it just said there were some eggs, weighing 0 grams. :) Needless to say, I'm stuck due to some programming flaw. But it was fun while it lasted

It's intriguing so far... but some of the puzzles are very obscure. For example, I can't figure out what I'm supposed to type in to remove the door braces, and I can't seem to use any of my items on them.
