Escape this Podcast - Episode 2 - The Speakeasy by James Spaid

** This game was designed by Dani Siller and presented by both Dani Siller and Bill Sunderland in their show, "Escape this Podcast". It has been adapted for interactive fiction game form by James Spaid with assistance from DavyB, and published with permission. It is a representation of the adventure played by Tess Hutley and Bill Sunderland in "Escape this Podcast" Episode 2 http://www.escapethispodcast.com/e/etp-2-saving-razorface-ft-bill-sunderland-and-tess-hutley/ If you do not want that episode spoiled for you, please listen to Tess and Bill solve the game first, and then try it here for yourself! **

On one seedy night in 1925 you've run afoul an infamous mob boss at his speakeasy. It's after hours and the club has long been locked down, with you as the sole inhabitant, awaiting your doom in the morning. That is, of course, unless you can escape first...

Love these games! My browser keeps getting stuck though, no matter which one I use (Safari, Firefox). Very annoying, but I'll keep trying! I need to figure out how to make the (light?) purple next...

Sorry victorvortex, presumably this happened with "use yellow transparency with stage light"? If so, use "put yellow transparency on stage light" until it is sorted out.

I am getting these errors -
Error running script: Error compiling expression 'yellow_transparency': Unknown object or variable 'yellow_transparency'
Error running script: Error compiling expression 'blue_transparency': Unknown object or variable 'blue_transparency'

Jellyfish936, It's not quite STOB! That was picked up by lip reading and the last letter has been identified incorrectly. Opening the safe will help you move on to solve other puzzles (and open up more hints).

Thank you for the suggestion, YyottaCat! I would really like to add looking into other rooms (since they're technically all the same room), but I'm afraid that I'm having difficulties doing that with non-directional exits. I will continue to try, though!

As for the expiring session, I think that might just be textadventures.co.uk being a bit slow with some increased traffic. :(
