The game consists of two parts, both of which are puzzles. In the first part, Gary (a NASA engineer) arrives home from work and must first figure out that he has a gas leak in his home. The type of gas leaking into his home impairs his decision-making, making his behavior erratic and his memory foggy. Using clues lying around his home, Gary has to find a way to call the gas company to fix his leak. Upon successful completion of Part 1, Gary is transported to the main NASA office where he works. In part two, Gary’s mission is to figure out how to correctly access and configure the wires in Panel 5 of a control board. Doing so will allow the space mission to take off successfully.
