The lonely forest by MeEeEe

ou are in a post-apocolyptic world where a virus designed to kill off animals mutates and causes the animal's children to be disformed and dangerous, resulting in new creatures that terrorized humans. Soon, the disease spread to humans as we started experiencing the same effects. However, instead of it just resulting in our new generation being disfirgured and mutated, it resulted in current generations being infected and getting severe mutations too. For the slim chance of humanity surviving, governments have advised against child births in those not immune.
You are somewhere in old Europe and need to cross the lonely forest to reach a group of survivors you have heard rumours about. These survivors are allegedly immune and so are you. Your only danger are the mutated creatures themselves. You are alone as you lost the other members of your group in a suprise attack.
