The choices are live or die rather than continue with your decision. You ended it quickly and you couldn't give us
a feel of survival and freedom. This is shown when you only gave us two options in the river scenes.
However the story and description is great, short creative paragraphs and descriptive details allows the reader to think before acting, thus in conclusion the story is great and enjoyable. Hope you'll continue!
