After playing the initial free content I have to say that I'm very impressed with the writing of this game. It seems to be very well done! Not only are the personalization options satisfying, but the quality is among the best of it's kind.

I played all three of the Victorian Detective mysteries back to back, and I have to say that I'm really impressed. Not only do they cater to text adventure fans, but I think the way these are done allows them to appeal to a broader audience.
For all intents and purposes, these games should all have five stars from me, but I gave it a 4 here, simply because with the unique style and dynamics of the game, I would have loved for there to be more internet-based detective work involved. In that sense I think there was a little bit of missed potential, series-wide. But still, fantastic.
