A collection of simple ideas that have been very well executed. It's a blast to play, although it does unfortunately become repetitive and boring once you have 20-odd cannon, since pretty much nothing can stop you at that point. Otherwise I really liked it, I'm going to keep it on my computer for an occasional pirate session.
