i made an item but can't take it

take as i mean get it in game

With your item highlighted on the left hand menu, click on the 'inventory' tab in the right hand screen. You'll see a little tick box that says 'Object can be taken'. Make sure it's ticked!

Conversely, if you make items you don't want people moving around - maybe it's a container like a desk or a cabinet, or something you have to use such as a sink - make sure the box ISN'T ticked.
