I have just finished work on the first version of Tea and cake, a classic style text adventure where the player's object is to have a nice cup of tea, a piece of cake and a sit down. This is not as easy as it sounds, though this is a small game (and one that does not take itself very seriously).
I have tested this, but there is only so far that one can go in testing one's own work. I should be grateful for feedback from anyone who would like to have a go at this game. Thank you in advance!
I had a look, and it looks pretty good already. Very much captures the old school feel, and there is a lot to it - so many items implemented! From what I could see already to a pretty good standard, but I sent some PMs with a few observations.
Thank you - that is very helpful. I have replied to the detailed feedback in a PM.
I've been playing the game. So far so good! I love the fact that there are so many ways to interact with the world around you. Almost everything has a description of sorts. I'll send you a bug that I found as well as a few thoughts in a PM once I've finished the game.
Arising out of the very helpful feedback from those who contributed here, I have upgraded Tea and Cake to version 1.1. Thank you all very much for your help.
