Attribute Tab?

Hello! I am new, so pardon me if this is an ignorant question.
So, I am working on a game, and I have stumbled across a problem. I am wanting to add a custom attribute to an object, and the documentation says to click on the "attribute tab". However, when I click on the object, I see no attribute tab.
I am using the latest release of the desktop version.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

are you using the simple mode by any chance? it usually hides the more complex stuff like the attributes tab.

I gave up on the desktop version due to many issues like that. The online Quest is superior in every way and super easy in comparison from my experience.

There are two versions of Quest, the desktop and the online version. You are using the wrong tutorial.

The original post said that they're using the desktop version. This probably means that they have it in simple mode, as the first response said. Once someone already has a correct answer, they probably don't need another wrong one.

Also, I notice that there seems to have been a surge of replies which consist of "I agree" with some sentences from earlier posts rearranged. These look like bots to me; some kind of search-and-replace rearrangement of an earlier comment into a different form, to give the impression they're real people.

This is further supported by the fact that Miyakami and JellyMin have both included links in their posts with style="color: transparent" so that you can't see them. They're trying to convince Google that this site supports their sites, and improve their search ranking.

An admin should delete these posts, or at least remove the links.

Sneaky! I suspected some of them were bots, but never noticed the invisible links and didn't have the evidence so I let it slide. I feel like I delete at least a half dozen spam messages a day, and they're even seeping into the game submissions now (and self categorizing as WIP to frustrate me further). My tools are very limited, and until The Pixie does some significant site revamps there is very little I can do about it other than regular pruning. He's the only one who can delete spam games or user accounts, and removing comments is a slow, tedious process.

Thanks for pointing this out again, mrangel, and feel free to share anything similar in private message if you'd rather not post publicly. I don't mind either way, though.
