Between Two Worlds is a choice-based story game that focuses on the separate lives of two characters and how they deal with the “end of the world” prediction at the start of the game. The player/reader has a choice between living the life of a college student or a corporate worker. The player/reader would then play through the story making daily life choices as the character. Unbeknownst to the player/reader, there are consequences to each environmentally harmful life choice. At the end of the game, the two characters (college student and corporate worker) meet briefly to tie the story together and the result of the game is revealed. Based on the player’s choices, the world could get another 10 years to live, or the prediction of the end of the world is altered to present day.
