Sburb [Homestuck] by Androm3da

Version 1.2: Goes as far as entering The Medium. Trying to find a way to add a Grist counter to the Status bar. Will add lands and god tier to Version 1.3!
Version 1.3: This is a test run for god tier and the random land generator I have set up. Found a way to add many things to the status bar! Including title, dreamer, modus, symbol, and many more! You can also customize your symbol before you reach God Tier.
Coming soon: Version 1.4 will have gates and a complete attack system! This means more kinds (strife specibus) more Imps/Ogres, denizens, and God Tier powers.

i love the game so far but, before i activated the cruxtruder i could 'check outside' and i apparently rose to god tier but that did nothing and i couldn't go back inside i don't think, however, after i activated the cruxtruder i couldn't check outside.

p.s. i like it how when i said 'sleep' it said 'no time for lounging about now'. i just wanted to see if i was a derse or prospit dreamer as i couldn't do outside

TBH, this needs some work. I cannot use the "Cruxite Sandwhich" (It should be spelled "Sandwich," by the way, and I cannot get any further than making the "Cruxite Sandwhich." When I check outside nothing happens. When I try to go outside an error message pops up and the game will not allow me to enter the medium.

This game is fun, and has some good potential, but hasn't been updated in over 2 years. I would love to play this more, but the farthest i have been able to get is the cruxite sandwich, and i don't know what to do with it. It would also be better with a couple of visuals.

The game is alright. It needs some more commands like Look Around so then you know where is where (granted it says it already in the bar, but I'd like my character to look around) but the main problem is that you can't get past making the Cruxite Sandwich. Once you make it, you can't eat it, use it on anything, at all. The game is very poorly developed.

To everyone hoping this guy will develop this more, he won't. The last update was two whole years ago. Let it go.

So far it seems amazing! But, I'm stuck at trying to install Sburb and I can't figure out the command to do it. The commands seem finicky so far, it'd be nice if before actually playing the game you gave a few examples f how the commands should look.

Great game, probably best one out there but the title system glitches 9 times out of ten, the start objective is a bit vague, and also it doesn't save properly for me. Maybe thats just me but, overall, Great game :D

in your update info you say that on the game one can already enter the medium, have a reamdomised land, and reach god tier, however, there has not been a single person that has been able to even enter the medium; did you test it before updating? and if it worked for you, why dont you say how to actually do it? things that come as obvious that one should do about this based of from the comic dont work, so i hope you actually answer.

It would be a 5 but it needs to fix the bug with when you get the sandwhich and type in check outside, it wont send you outside and give you a title and land. fix this and this will happily become a 5

I don't really know how to use this, it's really confusing. I also can't download. I think it would be nice if as you played online you'd be able to create your character and play as them while it had a screen at the top showing what your commands are.

I like this. It's a great game with stellar work! The only thing that I would suggest improving is the choice to choose your own God Tier, Consorts, and more specibuskinds! (Well, I wouldn't blame you on the God Tiers and Lands, there are up to 144 combinations and each with varying lands.) PS: For people still confused, try out all the options on "help" Toy around with it, but don't use it more than once!

When I get to God Tier it displays a error message like this: You we're killed, but you have ascended God Tier!

To use the sandwich, drop it then type "check outside" once (more than once and crash/restart your game.) and you will be transported to the medium, given a god tier, and become either a prospit or derse dreamer. And to use your strife specibus, get the axe or knife and type " use (whichever weapon you want) on strife specibus.

Here's a walk-through for you guys.
1. Captchalouge everything in the room, not the chest though, but everything in it.
2. Drop the laptop and turn it on. Now, you are able to install sburb.
3. Captchalouge the laptop again and type in "install" in the box. This should install sburb and open up a new pesterlog log for viewing.
4. Go to the balcony, where the alchemiter should be. Captchalouge the axe and use it with the strife specibus
5. Use the cruxtruder to make the cruxite dowel
6. Go to your bedroom and type "use cruxite dowel with totem lathe". This should make the carved cruxite dowel.
7. Go back to the alchemiter and type, "use carved cruxite dowel with alchemiter". This should make the sandwich.
8. Type in "check outside" in the box, and you should be teleported to a randomized land. Be sure not to type it more than once though, or you'll lose your progress in that land. I can't seem to get past this though because of a bug on the game, so you need to figure out the rest on your own.

I must say this is a rather good idea so far.

Though, and I'm sorry for repeating other peoples constantly asked question, however I feel I must.
Is there currently a way to use the Cruxite Sandwhich? Or will that be added in an Update?

Like, what does the knife look like?
It it a pocket knife?

What does the computer look like?

So, a lot of people are having trouble on the beginning.
1.)Captchalogue all the items in the room, then use >install.
2.)There is a knife in the kitchen and a axe on the outside deck, captchalogue those, and drop the chest, then captchalogue all the items in that.

okay so i am completely stuck. i have captchalogued the laptop, computer charger, captchalogue cards ((used them)), arms, strife portfolio with the strife specibus, i have a cruxite dowel, sburb copies ((used)) cruxite sandwich, knife and axe.... i can not go any where other than the stairway, bathroom, sburb bedroom, living room, kitchen, and outside deck. i have read other comments saying that they have a weapon and such but im quite confused of how they did it. doesnt seem like anyone was able to use the sandwich. how do you start getting your teirs and get past this "stuck at home with nothing to do cuz you did it all" part?

Alright, if you are having issues installing the SBURB copies, make sure they are captchalogued. Turn the laptop on, and when it prompts you to install them just enter "install". It doesn't take "install sburb copies" or anything like that.

Well, I figured out that if the first command you enter when starting the game is "Check Outside" it immediately takes you to your medium. If it doesn't work the fist time keep typing "Check Outside." And by exploring the different paths you can eventually find your quest bed to god tier, but that's where it ends. Every time I've tried this I've only gotten three different titles. Witch of Breath, Knight of Life, and Thief of Void. Has anyone else figured this out? I don't know what this accomplishes, but at least now we know that there is something that's supposed to come after that GOD FORSAKEN SANDWICH!!!

Lost on the cruxite sandwhich (sandwich). I've tried to use the knife on it, to aggrieve it with the axe I tried dropping it to see if that activates its, tried to eat it (which indicated I can eat somethings just not that). I did find out my title before hand though trying to go outside before going to my land stating that I am the knight of void which is awesome ^^. But yes help with sandwich is needed. Thank you, CA.

I'm going to assume that I should be familiar with sburb from some other forum? Every single item when looked at is "Nothing out of the ordinary." A simple fix is just type some description into 'look at' box for each item. Currently, 'look at (or x) laptop' gives the player "Nothing out of the ordinary". Simply type in "The laptop is a state of the art Dell Inspiron" in its description. This makes it difficult to get into the game when the items are things like an 'Array Fetch Modus' and 'Strife' doohickeys. There are errors in interactions with quite a few things and commands followed by no response whatsoever. I cannot close the cabinet in the bathroom but apparently it is not already open? I got no response when typing install (whatever that thing was) on laptop AFTER being asked/told to do so the first time, but it magically worked the second time? Nevermind my previous comment, I found a way to activate the Cruxtruder ((>Use Cruxtruder))
But now I think I'm stuck at the Cruxite Sandwhich part like alot of other people here apparently

After I activate the cruxtruder, it says a countdown begins. Does this have any relevance to the game? If so, how long does it take for it to finish?

I'd love to rate this game, but as far as I can get it the cruxite sandwich, carved cruxite dowel, and my strife specibus being knife kind. I've tried eating it the cruxite sandwich, using the axe to chop through the cabinet, and destroying the toilet (IDK I'm lost, maybe homestuck reference is answer-logic) but with no avail. I can't get into the cabinet or the bedroom, and I've alchemized everything possible so far. I think help is in need of an update, because the directions from there aren't quite clear.

I have been such a dodo bird.
I forgot to publish update, which was why the fixes I done on Quest wasn't syncing with the published game, creating this whole mess. It is in fact "use carved cruxite dowel with alchemiter", and for simplier ways you can type "use alchemiter" for the same outcome.

Having trouble getting past alchemising my item to get me into the session. It seems like most people are too. I've managed to get the CCD out of my captchalogue deck, but now I can't pick it up. I've tried a variety of what is 'use Carved Cruxite Dowel with Alchemiter', none of which work.
I am starting to think that this game may be bullshitting that it is a full game. Unlikey, but there are always people out there who would.
