I just started the game and I can't leave the pawn shop. It's an interesting game and I want to play more, but I can't progress.

I love the premise of this game, but unfortunately it gets 'stuck' at many locations, and the game does not understand a wide enough range of commands. Even if you know exactly what you want to do, i.e. ride the motorcycle to the university, or open the PO box at the Post Office, it takes an infuriating amount of time to find the exact command the game wants. It's quite frustrating and ruins the emersion somewhat.

There's also the various bugs, i.e. you cannot speak to the fisherman after sleeping in your home even though he says to "come back tomorrow". You can accidentally have the same long-winded conversation with characters over and over. And god forbid if you try to pick up the fire extinguisher in the storage facility because you are never, ever getting back out from there.

I know it's unfixable now, but if you're about to start playing this game keep this in mind.

Stuck at the University.
Got the statue to burn and now it says I DON'T have the statue
when I'm downstairs (going into the library) and then it says I
DO have it when I want to go into the elevator and it tells me I
can't while I have the statue. Tried dropping a few objects and
picking them back up but now it says I do/don't have the object
when I shouldn't??? What....Also, along with what everyone else
is saying, yes, the inventory bugs are annoying. It doesn't say all
the objects you have so I can't even remember the exact names
of the objects I may need! This game would be really interesting
if I could get through it.

Many items you pick up are not shown in your inventory (i.e. Quartz Key). You cannot pick up items such as the whiskey and the Onxy Key. The scroll in the birdhouse in faulty, as is the binary code on the gold coin. There is no way that I have found to actually use the shovel. The song does does not stay written down... So many many errors.

I'm somehow stuck at Pineview University. I can't go anywhere, look at anything, use anything.... Now what?!

Struggling a bit trying to get into the research facility. I type in the correct code, and the text says, "you can now go inside the research facility." But when I type "go in," "in," "enter," or even literally "go inside the research facility," it says I can't go there. I'm flummoxed.

I got to a fire on the railroad tracks, but can't find a way to use the fire extinguisher?
I've tried a lot but nothing works :(

The introductory text talks about an ID being added to the inventory but when the input text box appears there is no sign of it?

Seems quite buggy. I find items, they are added to my inventory and then they are gone... i.e. found the key to the unit - go to open "I do not have the key..." Other than that very interesting...

I got as far as someone saying "And we have got some serious work to do." then got stuck with no Continue link or command bar. The game looks to have a lot of potential, but still has a few issues. If you like, I could beta-test it. E-mail me at the_pix at hotmail dot com if interested.

I haven't finished yet, but so far so good! I have found some minor errors with inventory. For example, after you use the fire extinguisher, it shouldn't be in your inventory anymore.
