Loot Quest by dr213
It’s Loot Crate’s first text adventure game!
You wake up in outside in an unfamiliar field (we’re not judging but you should probably try to get your life together) next to a creepy, boarded up house. Here’s the bad news: it’s getting dark and this place is all kinds of scary. Here’s the good news: the mailbox is full of awesome stuff to help you get home! Plus you’re still wearing pants, which is always a good sign.
Your adventure only gets weirder from there! You’ll have to use the items you find to help you explore the house and make it back home in one piece. Are you smart enough? Brave enough? Crate enough? Find out in Loot Quest!

So I figured out the dog and trap door. Very very simple in the end. Just type 'go' and the direction you wish to go. However, now I am stuck in the library. UGH! I have the books, and I have the first slot opened. But I cannot place the books into the slot. Because "I can't see that." Here we go again.

I really want to like this game because it feels good right off the bat.
But...
The format is really odd. To do anything really you have to 'look [direction]'. There aren't a whole lot of descriptions for things that there should be. It is very much guess the right verb AND the right noun. Below is an excerpt from the game I played.
> use collar on dog
You narrowly avoid losing your arm as you slip the collar onto the raging beast. Just as you do, it seems to calm down. You attach the collar to the chain and the Guard Dog moves off the trap door obediently, wagging its tail.
> x door
I can't see that.
> x trap
I can't see that.
> look down
The Guard Dog sits atop a TRAP DOOR with a lightning bolt symbol on it. This may be the only way out! But how will you get the dog to move?
> pet dog
Ow! Petting the Guard Dog wasn’t your best plan. It nips at your fingers, ferociously.
> look at trap door
I can't see that.
> open trap door
I can't see that.

You are carrying a Travel Tag, a DnD Armor, a Wolf Head Key, a Golden Crown and a Tarot Cards.
> use tag on door
I can't see that. (door)

You can't go there.
> look east
This wall is covered in what appears to be blood. Or maybe ketchup? You’re certainly not going to lick the wall to find out!
> look west
The Iron Door you came through has locked behind you. There’s no escaping that way.
> look north
Deep scratches mark the wall. They appear to have been made by the claws of a giant hound.
> look south
A huge chain is attached to the wall. Could this have once bound the Guard Dog?
> use chain on dog
I can't see that. (chain)

This may be the biggest dog you’ve ever seen! Its eyes seem to po
