I thought it was an interesting and well written setup, with an original antagonist.. but for all the intriguing buildup the story ends suddenly without ever answering any of the questions it's made you wonder about. Many of the locations are described in detail making you wonder about previous occupants, what these places are... It's a very good lead up, but for such interesting things&places it would be better if there was more explanation of what they (and you) were!
