TIP FOR EVERYONE
you can make potions in just three commands:
I discovered that on Quest you can separate commands with an ellipsis "..."
so copy and paste
"use bucket on glass machine... get beaker... use empty beaker on potion dispenser... "
and hit enter. Then type "push red button" (or whatever colour) and hit enter, in the normal way. Then copy and paste
"take beaker... use beaker on potion mixer... pull lever"
and hit enter.
Doing the whole lot in one line doesn't work for some reason, you have to make "push red button" a separate command, or it says "I can't see that here" and stops, oddly.

Making the potions could be a bit of a pain, so this was a great time saver I came up with towards the end of the game.

So Tim! Great game. :)

This was very fun and engaging. The spell feature where you get new infinite-use abilites was really good, and I thought there was the perfect balance between the fun exploring of new areas and re-going over familiar areas :)

I found I had to consult this page a good few times though, because the odd command "look under <object>" was needed, but I never discovered (so I didn't get the detect magic spell until very late in the game).
Also the statues I couldn't get to work for aaaages. The arms wouldn't cooperate. I worked out that the position of the arms determines if you can move the shields, and the position of the shields determines if you can move the heads, but I couldn't see at all why the arms would sometimes be moveable and sometimes not. I couldn't do the sequence that was written on that note (because the arms would be stuck), so I just had to play with the statues for aaaaages and aaaages.
All the other problems I had though, when I looked up the answer on this page, I felt a little silly for haven given up when the answer looked very achieveable :P

I will definitely be playing all your other games too!
