I really enjoyed this, for two reasons: 1) very well written and conceived, and 2) your unconventional interface is a cooler, slicker version of something I'm playing around with -- I'm a programming novice, so yours is just WAY better than mine, but it was great to see it in an actual, fully realized game and have a sense for how it can work. So thank you for that.
The only reason I fall shy of five stars is because as the game progresses there are fewer and fewer parts of the text that offer new content when clicked. Almost everything in those early scenes gave you something, so when that became less and less the case it was a tiny bit disappointing. Still, a great example of a compact, fully realized story/game experience!

Just played the entire trilogy. Some of the best gamebooks I've played, just based on the sheer thought that went into them. I got a 34... would have been 35, but I intentionally made the incorrect last choice and let the bastard die! Great games, anyone who likes to think while playing will love them.

Just played the entire trilogy. Really well written and plotted out. I think this one did a better job getting you into the villain's head, though there were a couple more deductive leaps in this one that didn't feel quite as organic in #1. Still managed 89.5%, and saved all four girls, so I'm happy. Looking forward to more!

Just played the entire trilogy, and these are some of the best thought-out gamebook-style games I've seen here. On this one I got 16 and 4, though I did end up killing rather than arresting the bad guy. Anyway, these are great, and I'd love to see even more!

A really fantastic game experience. I seldom finish games of this level of difficulty -- and make no mistake, this is a difficult game to finish -- but the poetic nature of the writing and the almost otherworldly feeling of the piece makes it hard to step away from. The level of difficulty is the only negative thing I have to say: I had to ask for help more than once, and some of the solutions really are tough marks to hit without some assistance. Thankfully, the creator has been more than willing to oblige, and the overall experience is definitely worth it.
Not a quick play, but if you want to stretch your mind, gradually, over time, this is the game for you.
