Well-written, clever puzzles, good setup, a solid story. What else could you ask for? I love having the spells; having five unique spells that get used multiple times in interesting ways helps avert the adventure game problem of "This object has only a single use and will never be relevant again". Half the fun is from the witty writing and fun premise. Well worth your time!
