This is more humor than mystery. Nonetheless, it's a fun little romp, complete with pothead bears and a plethora of banjoes.
This is on rails, no question. However, for what it is, it's great. The characters seem deep even with only a few facts known about each of them. The jump scares are a little annoying, but they do convey the personality of the vindictive ghost.
Pretty linear, but the story is original and immersive.
Cool story and good writing. There's not a lot of variety in the endings, but it's still worth a few replays. I'd like to see more differences based on whether you choose to be a Greenthumb, Watcher, or Scrivener. All in all very nice!
Great writing, both in terms of concept and prose. I felt immersed in the world of the game. Occasionally ran into "guess the verb" problem, but the delightfully written hints set me straight. The ones about the library don't work, but fortunately I didn't need them. Also, I couldn't ask anybody about the barkeeper, so I guess his story will remain a mystery. All in all, bravo!
Controls aren't the best, but it's a clever little genre mashup that's funny with a hint of scary.
Just started this so I don't know about puzzles, but I love the writing. Bummed that it's having trouble loading - I can't wait to find out what happens next!
The main character was about the only one I didn't hate actually. This seems unfinished. Is there supposed to be a second day? I'm curious to find out more about this world of yours. Also I assume you wouldn't add locations that wouldn't be used at all.
I'm really impressed at the number of endings you put in here. I think this is the first IF game I've played that has a distinct ending for every single branching path. It seemed like you were setting up for a sequel. I'd like to see what you do with a longer game.
I love this! It's a great balance between a compelling story, with a genuine variety of endings, and fun, flavorful writing. For the record, the Ramones are definitely the founders of punk.
This says it continues the story of Travon French. I'd like to know more about the original story.
Lots of fun. Great use of the implications of time travel. As the professor says, "not everything happens in the right order..."
Pretty short (if I'm playing it correctly) but well written. Love the imagery and queer representation.
Well then. Goddamn. That packed more emotion than most movies. Reminds me of "All the Cares in the World" by Isaac Asimov. Digital art can't be so bad if it's all this high quality.
Not really a serious mystery, but I loved the snarky humor.
