Well, that's not quite true, there was a mouse stirring, not in the house, but in the shed at the bottom of the garden where he lived.
(Note this is an entry in IFCOMP 2018, it is heavily recommended that you download the quest program and play offline, or at least log-in so you can save your progress - the game servers can get very busy and sometimes freeze.)

"Play online" now uses the new Quest Viva WasmPlayer.
The legacy WebPlayer is being retired on 31 July 2026. If you have a Saved Game in the legacy WebPlayer, save it to a file before then.

Also adequately challenging. Played in 2-3 sessions, sought out hints a couple times.
