The Former by DirkW
The odd tale of a robotic world that was designed to be a utopia. You wake up alone in an abandoned factory, with no reccolection of who you are or how you got there. Unravel both your memory and a tapestry of lies and deceit that populate the so-called perfect world. Note: Some of the game's plot requires a bit of actual thinking to understand.

even if that were the year Darknight
who's to say we'd still be using the archaic "B.C." (before christ) / "A.D." ("Anno Domini" or year of our lord)
year system in the future?
Personally,
I would get rid of that and base the new system on a significant fictional event if I were to take the time to make a sci-fi game.
That would add more depth to a story if you ask me.

Here's what you do - Game -> Status Variables. Create a Numeric Variable named money/cash etc (Be sure to name the actual variable with lower case ONLY). In Display set what you want to see, with a ! for where the numbers come in. Eg, Money: ! will be Money: 100.
Set the initial value by typing in how much money you want the char. to start of with, eg 300.
Now, click Ok and close the variable window. Now, when you get to the section where you want a char be given/taken money, use the Variables -> Increment/Decrement a Numeric variable. Decrement for taking money, Increment for giving. Type the name of the variable (this is the variable name, not the display) then type the amount you want them to be given, eg 100. Ta-Da!

I found this game to have an outstanding story. I'm a huge fan to the science fiction genere. However, it lacks suspense.
In the beginning, it asks you to type in "Who am I". The answer I recieved was a model number of the robot, and the year it was made, "126". Why is it so early in time? One other thing. Why can't I take the PDA?
Once again, this game is very well done, but it needs more feeling, suspense, and mystery.
