Pain Labyrinth by Tai

This is one of my best games. With quest pro I was able to make a big game. If you're really good at these things it could probably take you an hour. But otherwise its really hard...

Remember to save because you could die at any time...
Tell me if something doesn't work or doesn't make sense. I tested the game before with me and my friend.

Well, im sorry for all the mess. To you i may just be three letters (t-a-i) but i have feelings! (lol) anyways, atleast my games decent. Ive seen some really bad games here. But ill take your advice steve when i make another text adventure. I just wish there was a site for mediocre text adv. creators where the standards are lower. While you must kick arse at text adv. i would kick ur arse in halo 3 lol.

steve- i appreciate u not rating it and all (cus it would probably be like a 2) but can you say something positive? Do you just feel like complaining about every single game someone makes even if their new at making these games? You only even comment nicely if its some pro game maker whos crazy good, which im not. And hey i make mistakes, so dont be so harsh. I'm sure when you started you felt the same way.

Hi Tai,
Hey a 2 is better than a 1! But sorry if I sounded harsh. There's just been a barrage of games that are either riddled with errors (spelling and game errors) or they aren't even completed. That's why I started posting comments (seemingly negative) on those games. When a game is well made, or "crazy good" as you said, I certainly do make a positive comment and a high rating.
I think what gets me is that people make and post games that have little or no descriptions, most spelled wrong, and have tons of errors that make it unplayable. You'll see something like "You are in Big Room". That's a simple example showing that the gamemaker didn't bother to use the prefix "the" in the title of the Big Room. Sometimes the exits are screwed up where you end up getting yourself trapped and when you look into their code, you see there was no solution to get out of a trapped room.

Mistakes do happen and even the best gamemakers ma

Mistakes do happen and even the best gamemakers make mistakes but if it's your first game and you know it doesn't work right, don't post it on here and expect to get happy comments from other people. Honestly, this is probably the harshest I get and it's really not that bad compared to other reviewers I've seen. So take that as a positive.

Let's see. Something specifically positive. I don't recall a lot of misspellings so that's a positive note. I really didn't play your game long enough to find a lot of positives. It seemed fairly random walking through and when you are less than one minute into the game, you die by an explosion that came from somewhere else in the maze. I took a look at your coding and saw that you made use of the timers. I knew that while playing the game but I saw how you had them set up. My suggestion would be to give the player a warning that they set off a ticking time bomb and give them an option to get away or at least stop the bomb somehow. The issue in this game is that if you stumble into the room and see the bomb, you can walk all the way to the other end of the maz

Nick, you bothered to save? Some rooms say "if you reached this room, you're sure to die" and some say that a ticking started. Even if you're many rooms away, you'll die in an apparent explosion. I considered doing a little map but I don't think I'll bother.
By the way, in a pitch black room, I was able to read writing on a wall without the aid of any light. I'm superman!... or a raccoon with night vision.

Aren't you glad I'm not rating these?

could you please tell me what the bugs or glitches were so I could fix it and possibly make it longer?

It was buggy and really short. Sometimes things like the screen wouldn't even show up, and the man would give me the knife and it wouldn't even show up in my inventory. Once I got everything to work it took me less than 5 minutes to finish.

IT WAS very good especially with all the floors and rooms. It had a lot of puzzles. Since you could die I had to save. If it weren't for that glitch though, I would have kept playing.
