Dear the Deer has been a reoccurring project that creative visionary, Preston Lingle, has wrote about many times before. The first installment, Dear the Dear, followed Dear going through the forest and his attempts to try and get a little leaf to go on a date with him. The second installment in this never-ending franchise, Dear the Reindeer, had Dear helping Spanish Santa Clause on the Eve of Christmas and delivered toys to all the good boys and girls across the world. Fear the Deer, the third story in the Dear legacy, had Dear telling poetry to young children on the night of Halloween, with him inspiring some but intimidating many. Notwithstanding the spin-off book, Beer the Deer, which follows Dear's distant cousin, Beer, who is a college-student turned alcoholic, this is the 4th story in the Dear the Deer lineage.
