Misty Nights (Part 1?) by ChamberQuester

You are Jake Myers, an overall average Joe who had no intentions of doing anything with his life other than being a bank teller and getting yelled at by his wife.
However, one night, your car breaks down on the way home.
Luckily for you, a nearly broken-down boarding home is nearby...
But what secrets does it hold?
Includes:
- Infinimatic (From Ebay!)
- Poison
- Spikes
- Amoebas
- Spontaneous Combustion
- Kitchen Gargoyles
- Wooden Ladles
- Self - References
- Spellbooks
- Sacks
- Lysol
- A Flower
- And much more!
P.S. I don't own any rights to Lysol, I just used it as a joke. It isn't portrayed in a negative way, advertised, or anything of the sort. It was simply to be able to open the chest in the bathroom. [Yeah, I gave a hint. :) ]
P.P.S. Please don't say anything about it not being scary enough, it was supposed to be a dry, dark humor brainchild that took place in a neglected boarding home. It just kind of went from there.
Hints:
- Read the Misty Nights Book
- Look at everything
- Remember objects you otherwise wouldn't (small details)
- Don't trust anything
If you do those, you'll win! With time, of course.

Never mind, I just finished it! I would love a continuation of this. One where you can solve a mystery, or manage to get out alive. I really loved the humour in this. it was so much fun. Great job!

Okay...so I am a bit stuck. I need to find a book to put on the desk, or activate the portal, but there is nothing I can think of that I am missing. Help!

This was my first game, and I just made it in my spare time. It might not seem like too much, but I put hours in. A lot of it was working on the humor (it's my personal style), but the coding took a lot as well. I'm grateful to hear of any errors, bugs, misconceptions or next part (if there will be one) ideas, and hope you all had fun!
