This game was really fun and engaging and I liked how easy it was to get tips on how to operate it. I was surprised that I enjoyed this game, expecting it to be much darker and disturbing. As questionable as some of the content was, how terrible of a person the player character is really depends on the player.
It can be a little frustrating until you figure out the correct verbs to use - not the spells though, the spells were easy to use and I thought the way they were utilized was clever - but after I got into the swing of the things I had a lot of fun.
I would definitely recommend this to others, but I'd also explain the controls first so they don't have to struggle to get into the game.
I think the best thing about this isn't the writing, although it is definitely beautiful, but how immersive it is. I felt myself being sucked into the game, feeling the emotions of the protagonist as if they were my own.
Spondre also has so many different possibilities and can become a longer and more immersive experience if you let it.
