Undead Apocalypse 3 by actionpackdude
The 3rd installment of my first series- Undead Apocalypse
I spent unspeakable amounts of time on this series, tweaking it perfect. Hopefully you see it as amazing as I do.
In this episode, there are 3 endings!
This is the final installment of this series.

If you want to add a point system, I have a few basic tips that I've figured out. I remember it was tough finding good explanations of how to use programming scripts on quest when I was starting out.
Say you wanted to track the player's courage. At the beginning of the game, you can change the first page from "text" to "script + text". You can add a script, and add the script "set counter" under variables to 0. Call it courage or whatever.
Whenever the player makes a courageous choice, you can change the page he arrives at from "text" to "script + text", and add the script "increase counter" for courage.
When you want to display the score, just write {counter:courage} in your body of text, and the number equal to courage will show up there.
That's just a quick basic way to do points. Gives something that the player wants to achieve instead of just surviving. Keep up the good work!

@peter123,
-I'll see if I can try implementing something like that, sorry about the linearality.
-I agree, paragraphs should be used. Those were my first games, so pretty much tests. And I don't see how the color is tough on your eyes, is it just you?
-I added images where they should be added, but I'll look into it.
-I had an idea of going off of wine brand names. Maybe I'll do something like that. It wasn't meant to be for Lisa, but the diner itself.
-I made this game because of an idea I had while laying in bed, not for reviews. Honestly I do love when people give reviews like this one, because then I know what to fix.
Thanks for the review!

Cool game! There are a lot of zombie themed games on this site, and this is a good addition to them. I have a few comments.
-The game is somewhat linear. Obviously it's hard to avoid that with a gamebook game, but I find if the game is linear, its good to add a scoring system. Maybe something to track moral choices, or hunger.
-The text should be broken into paragraphs. Having a big block of text is sort of intimidating, and it flows better if there are line breaks and more dialouge. Maybe throw in some emotional questions that don't effect the story, but make the player reflect on what he would do. The red text on black background is also tough on the eyes.
-You could add some images.
-I like the lock combination sequence, but I would've liked it more if it wasn't just arbitrary letters. Maybe I missed the significance of it, but I was hoping it would spell DAD or DEB or something that means something to Lisa.
Overall, nice work! I hope you keep making games. But you shouldn't make games just so you get good reviews (tho it is a good feeling, I'm just thinking of how you asked for good reviews on the 2nd game before releasing the 3rd), just make games because you have a cool story that you want to tell.
