I would just like to add He didn't actually get to "Find out who his online Messaging buddy is" now did he?

-1 Point for not having a proper "The END" or "Game Over"
-1 Point for not being able to choose Lucy over Becka ( Even if you cut the game short you still get a good ending for not cheating on your gf)
It's a matter of creating a choice between going on your date and continuing your chat with becks. Choosing Lucy will end the game.

[a bit of a spoilery comment scroll past if you havent finished]

from the ending i got i can help but wonder if beck wasn't a girl? they were curious how flowerboy related to that one poem with the gay writer and that might explain why they were so cautious to meet with flowerboy because they might be afraid hed reject them. my other thoughts were that beck may have found out about lucy and was disgusted he was using them to cheat on them- or maybe that beck was lucy all along trying to get closer to flowerboy but afraid to be herself so she created an alternate persona and eventually got upset he seemed to like beck better than her? idk those were just some theories i had about this because the ending was so mysterious :o

interesting story and format, although i would have liked the opportunity to talk with lucy more- i think it added to flowerboys personality that you couldnt ; the ambiguity of what happens is frustrating but i think it works for the story

I'm a little confused at the ending?? Or at least at the ending I got... I did the crossword yada yada (or rather I did everything i could, then used what I had to guess the missing letters for the answer. Seriously though I've never heard a department store called that lmao what). Anyway, it pretty much ends with him logging off, but like?? Is that The Ending. Did I do something wrong?? Did I just not wait long enough for the next part to pop up? I don't know, a little 'Game Over' type message would be nice. Maybe with a hint as to how things could have gone differently. I'll retry again but yeah definite confusion at the end there :c

Fantastic job. Very emotional story. Sucked me right into the story and I didn't get out until the game finished. I need a sequel!

Limited choices, but it is a game worth playing. Interesting design and refreshing format. When presented with choices to make (telling Lucy, for example), it is difficult to guess the right commands to type in. A simple solution would be to number them. Something like this.

"What do you want to do:
1. Tell Lucy you lost a bet,
2. Tell Lucy she doesn't know the person, or
3. Pretend you never got the message."

That way, the player can just type 1, 2, or 3 instead of trying to guess the correct words to type. I tried typing all sorts of stuff in there: tell lucy, tell lucy you lost a bet, lost a bet, bet, etc, but I could not get any option to work.

Overall, I thought it was well constructed and definitely worth a read. Nice change of pace.
