Weird City Interloper by C.E.J. Pacian

An interactive tale of strange conspiracy.

Pull up your hood, lower your gaze and enter the city of Zendon. If you can gather enough information, you may just be able to change the course of history.

(Weird City Interloper is a shallow but broad conversation game.)

What a fantastically quirky world! How to describe it? Maybe, "Steampunk meets City of Ember meets Athas, with a dash of Greek mythology to hold it all together"? Well-written and well-executed. Be forewarned: there aren't really a lot of "puzzles" to solve in the traditional sense (in fact, there's really only one that can't be solved simply by asking everybody about everything). But the story is so engaging I didn't mind. Sequel, please! I feel like we barely scratched the surface!

Very well written! Innovative and imaginative. Challenging, but not frustrating. Good level of help balanced with mystery. Great voicing for the different characters. The way the world unfolds through conversations is brilliant. Great job at pacing, keeps you hooked. One of the best I've played!!!

I am speechless after playing this. This must be one of the best games I've ever come across. At first you might not know whats going on, but gradually you find out more about yourself and the situation by asking NPCs. There's also a few puzzles involved.
Overall, the game is creative, interesting, and even gets a bit emotional at parts.
Great game!

I'm confused on the plot, but I like how you portrayed the story. Good work! Worth every second.
